We collect different types of data depending on the purpose. Usually these are merely identifying data linked to the professional or business activity (contacts, customers, suppliers, etc.) and other purposes proper to SODERCAN.

What do we use your data for?

 

1.- To manage visitors to the website who make use of the services provided by the website owner.

 

2.- To send, via electronic means, information about news services available through the website.

 

3.- To send our Newsletter via electronic means, or any other type of communication or information on the institutional activities and other information of interest..

 

4.- In the case of CVs, we will use your data in order to manage your application and make you participate in possible in possible selection processes..

 

5.- To manage clients and the provision of SODERCAN services: this includes registration as a user, the application, processing and management of grants and subsidies and any other Sodercan services that require registration.

 

6.- For organization of events, conferences, courses and calls, the management of registrations, the preparation of satisfaction surveys, and sending information on the activities and services of SODERCAN.

 

7.- For the prevention of criminal activity within the company, taking inti acciunt its Code of Conduct, the characteristics of the secto, customers, suppliers and professionals. To promote good corporate governance, to create a clinate of trust and provide the organisaion with greater transparency. This includes data (unless anonymous) collected through our Whistleblower Channel.

 

When data is collected, the voluntary or obligatory nature of its collection and processing will be indicated. The refusal of provide data considered obligatory may impair or impede the provision of the services or information requeseted. Furthermore, data may be provided voluntarily in order to better provide the services or information requested.

 

How long do we keep your data?

 

Sodercan will keep youe data for as long as you remain registered as a user of the website and mantain your relationship with us (management of suibsidies, etc.). Once the relationship is terminated, we will delete your data afther the period stipulated by law.

 

Legitimate interest:

 

The processing of your data is based on the legitimate interest of SODERCAN to carry out its activities and the consent of the interest party who voluntaruky registers as a user.

 

In the case of those with a contractual or pre-contratual relationship with Sodercan, data processing is for the execution of the contract, agreement or acceptance of the corresponding program or conditions.

 

To send commercial information by electronic means about our events, publications and information of third parties and/or if you already have a previuos relationship with us, we will rely on the legitimate interest pursuant to Article 21.2. of Law 34/2002, the Informatión Society Services and E-Comerce Act (LSSI).

 

If you do not have a relationship with our entity, we will request your consent to process your data in the corresponding forms.

Sodercan will not make any communication or transfer of data other than those for the purposes of the execution of the contract or to provide you with the requested services and comply with our legal obligations.

We work with external providers who may have access to data for the provision of different services. We have signed the corresponding data processing agreements with all of them.

No international data transfers are considered.

 

Rights: What are your rights when you provide your data?

 

          a. Any person has the right to obtain confirmation whether their data is beind processed by Sodercan (Sociedad para el Desarrollo Regional de Cantabria, S.A.).

 

          b. Interested parties have the right to access their personal data, as wel as to request rectification of inaccurate data or, where appropiate, the suppression when the data is no longer required for the purposes for which it was collected.

 

         c. You also have rights over the limitation and portability of your data.

 

         d. When data processing is based on consent, you have the right to revoke this consent without affecting the previously carried out processing.

 

         e.          f. If you consider thar your rights have not been respected, you can contact the Spanish Data Protection Agency, www.agpd.es and Calle Jorge Juan, 6, 28001 – Madrid, as the Independent Control Authority for personal data protection.

 

Sodercan has adopted the necessary technical and organisational measures to safeguard the security and integrity of the data, and to avoid any alterations, loss, processing or unauthorised access.

Furthermore, data may be provided voluntarily in order to better provide the services or  inofrmation requested. When users of this website provide their email address to access the services or information requested, they may indicate the do not wish to receive any type of additional communication form Sodercan (Sociedad para el Desarrollo Regional de Cantabria, S.A.) Sodercan will provide users who have subscribe to a mailing list from this website the appropiate mechanisms to unsubscribe from the mailing list.
